I was born and raised in the Nashville area and I am currently living in Brentwood. I’ve been married to my best friend for 26 years, and had an adventure early in our marriage living in New York City, then returning after 6 years to settle again in the Nashville area. Today, my teenage boys attend the same school where my husband and I attended and have such good memories. We are so blessed that they are creating the same connections and friendships we did when we were young. Life led us back to exactly where we were supposed to be.
I started my young adult life doing all the things that made sense. I went to high school, followed by college. Then I thought I wanted to keep studying, so I went into nursing. I landed a job in nursing doing what I thought I loved … until I didn’t.
The next phase of my life I went into network marketing, establishing amazing friendships along the way and learning so much. But most importantly, it taught me to take time for myself and to continue to improve myself through personal development. For that, I’m forever grateful.
When Covid hit, something in me “woke up” and I realized the world we live in is not exactly as I thought. I knew there was more. More to study. More to learn. More things to experience. So I dove into so many things: Ayurveda, Reiki, sound frequencies, energy healing, making tinctures, and studying holistic health.
Then one day I found myself at The Estuary. As if it was meant to be, I was asked to join part time. Here I’ve met some great people and I learn something new everyday. Thank you Susan for seeing something in me I had no idea I needed.
